How to use GIS Journal Platform

The GIS Journal Platform is a platform developed for the GIS Journalism & Yearbook class to help write and manage articles for the student-led journal, GIS Standard.

How publishing works

  1. The manager adds the students and creates a edition.
  2. Editors choose that edition, write their posts, and mark them final when they are ready.
  3. The manager opens each post and checks which posts are still drafts.
  4. When no drafts remain, the manager can export a PDF and publish the edition.
  5. Final posts from the published edition appear on the journal homepage.
